Ailytics AI Startup Raises $7.4 Million to Expand Globally

Ailytics AI startup Ailytics has raised US$7.4 million in a Series A funding round led by Singapore-based venture capital firm Tin Men Capital. The Singapore-headquartered company plans to use the funding to expand its industrial artificial intelligence platform across Asia-Pacific, the United States and the Gulf, while strengthening its presence in sectors that include manufacturing, logistics, oil and gas, maritime and mining.

The round includes participation from SEEDS, part of SG Growth Capital, Japan-based cloud camera company Safie, a Japanese construction company, family offices and existing investors. The investment follows Ailytics’ US$2.7 million pre-Series A round in April 2024, also led by Tin Men Capital.

Ailytics develops computer vision technology that converts existing industrial CCTV infrastructure into a real-time layer for workplace safety and operational monitoring. Its approach is designed to help businesses identify potential hazards and monitor activities without necessarily replacing their existing camera systems.

Ailytics AI Platform Turns Existing CCTV Into Safety Intelligence

The company’s core product, Ailyssa, analyses video feeds from existing cameras to identify potential safety risks and operational issues. Rather than relying exclusively on workers to review footage after an incident, the platform is designed to provide alerts and actionable information as events unfold.

Ailytics says its technology can derive three-dimensional spatial understanding from a conventional two-dimensional camera feed. This allows the system to analyse relationships between objects and activities within a monitored environment.

The platform is designed for demanding industrial conditions, including poor lighting, rain, dust and obstructed views. These environments can be difficult for computer vision systems trained primarily on controlled or idealised images.

By working with legacy cameras, Ailytics is targeting companies that want to introduce AI-powered monitoring while making use of infrastructure already installed across their facilities.

Ailytics AI Expansion Follows Growth to 400 Deployments

Ailytics reports that its footprint has grown from 70 projects in four countries at the time of its previous funding round to more than 400 deployments across 15 countries.

The company says its platform has detected more than 5.7 million hazards and monitored over 500 million square metres of active worksites. Its reported deployments include industrial operations at NatSteel, the PaxOcean shipyard in Indonesia, DHL, Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci International Airport and construction work associated with Changi Airport Terminal 5.

These figures are based on company-reported information and have not been independently audited.

The expansion demonstrates the potential market for video analytics in industries where safety compliance, equipment movement and operational visibility are important. However, the effectiveness of AI monitoring depends on factors such as camera placement, system configuration, the type of activity being monitored and how organisations respond to alerts.

Ailytics AI Funding Supports International Market Expansion

The new capital will support the company’s plans to strengthen local teams in the United States, Japan, Australia and the Gulf. Establishing teams closer to customers can help enterprise technology companies manage deployments, understand local operating requirements and provide ongoing support.

Ailytics also intends to expand into additional heavy industries, including manufacturing, logistics, oil and gas, maritime and mining. These sectors often operate across large facilities and outdoor environments, where manually reviewing extensive camera footage can be resource-intensive.

For Ailytics, the expansion strategy combines geographic growth with deeper sector-specific applications. Its challenge will be to adapt its technology to different workplace environments while maintaining reliable performance and demonstrating value to customers.

The company says customers have reported a 73% reduction in total recordable incident rates and 84% fewer safety non-compliances. These are customer-reported outcomes cited by Ailytics, rather than independently verified performance benchmarks.

Ailytics AI Adds Contextual Reasoning With AilyssaX

Alongside its core video analytics platform, Ailytics has developed AilyssaX, a contextual reasoning engine intended to interpret scenes and verify multi-step procedures.

The technology is designed to move beyond detecting an individual object or event towards understanding a sequence of activities. In industrial settings, that could help systems evaluate whether particular procedures are being followed and provide more context around an alert.

The company says it plans to use the funding to develop its own domain-specific models and keep the cost of running AI manageable as demand grows.

Industry-specific AI models can be valuable when generic systems struggle with specialised equipment, safety rules or operational workflows. Their performance still depends on the quality of training data, the reliability of the underlying detection system and validation in real working environments.

For businesses considering deployment, the practical question is whether contextual alerts improve decision-making and reduce the burden on safety teams without generating excessive false alarms.

Ailytics AI Growth Builds on Tin Men Capital Partnership

Tin Men Capital also led Ailytics’ previous funding round and has worked with the company on commercial strategy, market selection and international expansion.

The latest investment reinforces the relationship as Ailytics moves from a Singapore-based operation towards a broader international business. Safie’s participation also builds on an existing relationship between the companies. In April 2026, Ailytics announced a memorandum of understanding with Safie focused on bringing AI-powered industrial safety solutions to Japan and other markets.

The Series A announcement does not disclose Ailytics’ valuation or the amount contributed by each investor.

With the new funding, Ailytics aims to expand its international footprint and develop AI tools for complex industrial environments. Its next phase of growth will depend on converting deployments into sustainable customer relationships, adapting to local market requirements and demonstrating measurable operational benefits.
